Hermana Wilbur Arrives in Kentucky!

With Mission President and his Wife
Nicole arrived in Kentucky on October 14th.  She was assigned a companion to be her trainer.  She now resides in Owensboro, KY which is about an hour and a half away from Louisville, and on the border of Indiana.  The Spanish area in Owensboro is relatively new and there is a lot of work for Nicole to do.  Currently, there is a small, English branch, but the eventual goal is to make this group into a ward, and add a Spanish branch as well!

Quote from Nicole:
I love being a missionary!
"I love serving a mission.  This is the best thing.  When we get into a lesson, it is like time has stopped and it is only us and our investigator.  To the world, these people might be forgotten.  But in lessons I always get a confirmation that to Heavenly Father, these people are His children.  He knows who they are, what they need, and they are not forgotten.  They matter to Him, and because I am here to do what He would do if He were on the Earth, they matter to me."
